Ohori Capital Pty. Ltd. is focused on investing both funds and resources into small to medium technoloy related companies especially those looking to enter the market in Japan or use Japan and a hub for expansion into Asia.
Our goal is to help companies develop new technology especially in the areas of green and renewable energy or other enviromentally friendly products/systems. Some of the activies we are currenly involved are outlined on our projects page.

Greg Atkinson MBA B.Sc (Elec Eng) MAICD
Greg Atkinson is the founder and Managing Director of Ohori Capital Pty. Ltd. and has headed the company since it started as a business in 2005.
Before forming Ohori Capital he spent approximately 12 years in the telecommunications industry, where he held senior management roles for a number of major multinational companies in Australia and Japan. During this time he managed a number of complex projects including several large national mobile network rollouts. He has held positions in areas such as product management, network support and marketing.
Prior to his career in the telecommunications sector, he served 10 years in the Royal Australian Navy in electronics engineering where he served on the destroyer escorts HMAS Derwent & HMAS Stuart.
He first started living in Japan in 1997 and after several moves between Australia & Japan, finally settled in Fukuoka in 2007. (having also lived in Tokyo and Yokohama) He is originally from Sydney, Australia.
Greg holds an MBA, a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, an Associate Diploma in Electronic Systems Maintenance and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. (MAICD).
Greg is also a Director of Eco Marine Power Co. Ltd. in Japan. This company develops and markets cutting-edge hybrid marine power systems for ships and vessels.
Peter Atkinson B.Eng
Peter Atkinson is a director of Ohori Capital Pty. Ltd. and is based in Australia. He has over 25 years of experience in dealing with complex and technologically challenging military related projects in Australia.
During this time he worked with a wide range of cutting edge technologies and has headed several large and complex defence procurement programmes.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and lives in Canberra.
